The fourth of June 2024 marked a milestone day for King’s as our three campuses celebrated building opening ceremonies. Event attendees included State Members of Parliament, local Councillors, Church Elders, Executive Pastors, College Board members, Principals, ISQ and BGA representatives, and other special guests.

King’s Logan Village opened new primary and high school buildings, marking the first ceremony of the day. Pimpama campus opened its new high school building and hosted a lunch for the special guests. Reedy Creek celebrated the opening of the new primary school building.

We were honoured to have the Hon Corrine McMillan, Assistant Minister for Education and Youth Justice, represent the Queensland Government for these openings. She unveiled the building plaques and acknowledged the Government’s significant funding contributions. In her speech, Ms McMillan praised King’s Christian College for its remarkable impact on the Gold Coast and Logan Village communities.

We were pleased to have the opportunity to take our dignitaries on a tour through the buildings, where they enjoyed seeing our students immersed in their vibrant new facilities designed to inspire learning, innovation, and creativity. Thank you, Queensland Government, for continuing to support the development of our school.
