We're excited to announce the development of our future primary school building, featuring 14 classrooms. Construction will begin in January 2024, with the scheduled opening ready to start the school year in January 2025. The structure will initially accommodate our high school students and eventually transition into its intended purpose as a primary school building.
Anticipation is growing as construction of the sports ovals near completion. The sports ovals will accompany new athletics facilities that will feature a multilane long/triple jump pit, shot put and discus circles, javelin, and a running track. These developments signify the college's commitment to fostering excellence in sports, providing athletes with optimal facilities to develop and showcase their skills.
The community centre forecourt is a welcome addition to King's Pimpama campus. The generously sized undercover area features high ceilings and decorative screens, offering shelter and protection from varying weather conditions. More than an architectural statement, the forecourt is a haven where community connection can thrive.
During Term 1 of 2023, students and staff moved into the second purpose-built high school building at King's Pimpama. This new two-story complex included eight high school classrooms, two science laboratories, flexible learning spaces and a staff room.
We're delighted to reveal these artist impressions of our new primary school building, set to begin construction in December 2023 at our Pimpama campus.
The two-storey facility will feature 14 classrooms, along with flexible learning spaces meticulously designed for students to foster creativity and dynamic learning experiences.
Scheduled to open its doors in January 2025, the future primary school building will be a valuable and eagerly anticipated addition to our Pimpama campus.
